Kyle L. Carlson is appointed to serve as a Bankruptcy Trustee for the Districts of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota by the United States Department of Justice – United States Trustee Program, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. Section 586.  The Trustee’s role is to administer Chapter 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases. Administration of these cases includes, but is not limited to:

• Conducting an 11 U.S.C. Section 341 meeting of creditors
• Evaluating schedules and plans for compliance with the Bankruptcy Code
• Evaluating claims of creditors
• Receiving payments from debtors
• Disbursing funds to creditors pursuant to Chapter 12 & 13 plans and orders of the United States Bankruptcy Court
• Providing annual accounting to debtors
• Providing final accounting and appropriate orders to complete the administration of cases

The Trustee does not represent either debtors or creditors and cannot give legal advice to either party in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
